Design Thinking for Educators

Educational institutions across the world are facing challenges every single day, from engaging with students on a meaningful level to the challenges educators are confronted with, which are real, complex, and varied. And as such, they require new perspectives, new tools, and new approaches. Design Thinking is one of them.

Design Thinking is the confidence that everyone can be part of creating a more desirable future, and a process to take action when faced with a difficult challenge. That kind of optimism is well needed in education. Powered by IDEO.

Instructor: Antonia Jolic is both a design practitioner and an academic. She has more than 20 years of experience working in design. Her work ranges from brand development, packaging, publishing, exhibition design, environmental graphics, as well as new media. Antonia is faculty at Gulf University for Science & Technology and is currently pursuing her PhD in Design at MADA (Monash Art Design and Architectue).
