What's behind the name?
We chose the conference title “The Seen" because it expresses dual meanings. First, talented designers and entrepreneurs from across the country will have a chance to be "seen" at this high-profile event.
The name also implies the idea of a "scene" that reflects the trends of a contemporary social phenomenon, such as the art scene or the fashion scene.
Speakers at this conference represent a range of local "scenes," including film, architecture, illustration, graphic and interior design, cartoons and comics, marketing and advertising, public relations, publishing, and photography.
